Finding your passion

Do you want to be happy or make money? Many people I admire take the point of view that if you find passion in something, and you work towards that passion, success and/or money will follow.

How many times have you heard a big movie star relate their simple beginnings? Bill Gates and Steve Jobs and countless other business moguls started with following up on ideas that they felt a passion to pursue. How about the rest of us?

Many people lead successful careers in jobs, situations that they just stumbled into due to circumstances, fate. My guess is many of us allow life to happen to them after school, and end up asking questions twenty or so years later like, “why do I do what I do?.” Gratefully, many are lucky enough to have beautiful, loving families by then, so life and God’s graces are something truly to be thankful for. I am one of those lucky ones who are asking that question, “Why am I not passionate about what I do?” I think this is only a question you can ask yourself when the financial and the basic life necessities are covered, and so I feel honored to be at this point in my life.

So… long story short, I think there are many of us out there asking this question. I personally am on a journey to find the answer and my passion. I wish all of you success in your journey as well.
